Kidney Stones
Kidney stone is made up of tiny crystals in a solid mass; they can form in the urine when there is too much of a certain substance. The symptoms include pain as there is swelling of the kidneys; this pain will be in the stomach, back and groin. There may also be urine decolourisation, fever, nausea and blood in the urine. If the case is severe treatment may be needed if not they will pass through in their own time, and drink plenty of water, pain relief can be obtained from our pharmacy.
Kidney Infection
The symptoms of a kidney infection leave people looking ill as well as having a high temperature, shivering, vomiting, diarrhoea, back pain and tenderness in one or both sides. The usual treatment for kidney infections are antibiotics.
